Age of Conan is fantasy-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Funcom for PC and the Xbox 360. The full release of the game for North America was May 20, 2008, for the PC version with the Xbox 360 version to follow later in 2009.
Hyborian Adventures is the first installment in the planned Age of Conan series that will include expansion packs hinted at on the official forums. The Age of Conan series is set in the Hyborian Age, a fantasy setting created by Robert E. Howard in 1932. Age of Conan itself takes place within the continent of the Hyborian kingdoms, a year after the events depicted in Howard's sole Conan novel, The Hour of the Dragon. Hyborian Adventures' release will celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Conan franchise.
Like many other MMO games, there is a monthly subscription fee. The price of an 'Age of Conan Playtime Card' is $29.99.

Of course, Funcom's current primary game, Age of Conan, was heavily developed in Europe, and the layoffs were supposedly mostly relegated to the customer service and quality assurance departments.

First order of business: A history lesson on the Grey Wardens.He described the Grey Wardens as "a secretive brotherhood that spans the ages," and in the grand tradition of any secret society, they've had a hand in many of their world's history changing events.
