Developed at the SEGA Racing Studio in Solihull, England,[2] the game's features will include:
* Over 30 vehicles to choose from, both 4WD and 2WD as well as classic rally vehicles.
* Dynamically deformable terrain.
* Smashable scenery
* Realistic modelling of dirt and mud affecting cars' performance.
* 6 racing environments:
o Tropical
o Canyon
o Alpine
o And three more TBC
* There will be 16 different tracks in total.
* Multiplayer split-screen mode
* Online multplayer for up to six racers

The game is intended to be as realistic as possible while still retaining the arcade style gameplay long associated with the Sega Rally series.

Sega announces Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity in Japan
(via Xbox 360 Fanboy) - Though North America's still a few weeks away from getting its collective hands on Phantasy Star Portable 2, Sega's Satoshi Sakai announced to Famitsu that a fancy, extended version of the game will be released in Japan this year. Subtitled Infinity, the expansion will feature new visual lobbies in online multiplayer modes (similar to the original Phantasy Star Online), a respeccing tool for lower-level characters, a new playable race for advanced players, and a completely new campaign storyline which takes place after the events of the original PSP2.

Sega registers Valkyria Chronicles 3 domain

As unearthed by Siliconera, the publisher parked valkyria3.jp near the end of May, which is similar to how the company named similar domains for previous entries in the series. Joystiq contacted Sega, but the company didn't have any statement to share on the subject.

Sega confirms Thor game for 2011
