wtf?reviews stranglehold

I saw stranglehold cheap so I figured what the hell. I played through it on casual.  And I have a few thoughts.

 I could sit here and just nit pick about everything that I feel is wrong with this game. But I don’t really want to because over all I do like this game, but it definitely isn’t perfect. So I will start with what I LIKED.

• The tequila bomb moves are a cool Idea.  The powers do cool things (health regen, extreme zoom, barrage, and spin), which fit in with the whole john woo action movie theme.
• The style.  Again the game feels like a john woo action movie, and I love the locals.
• Interactive destructible environments.   Pretty much everything can be DESTROYED in one way or another.  Shooting the dino skeletons in the museum is kinda fun.
• His moves (cart riding, rail riding).  Again very john woo action movie.
• Tequila is a bad ass.

Ok here we go. What I DIDN’T LIKE:

• Difficulty with the difficulty (casual felt too hard).  There were times when playing the game on casual, it seemed down right hard.
• The cover system seemed at little off.  You can really only take cover behind somethings, not everything.  And it’s really only post and walls.
• Lack of lock-on.   Targeting  can be an issue, if not completely screwy
• Multiplayer or lack there of….  No one plays online anymore, if they ever did. So the online achievements are unachievable.
• the DLC (yes there some)  is a whopping 1200pts.   STILL!!!!  WTF!!!!

Overall liked the game and since I only paid $10 bucks no big loss.  That being said stranglehold isn’t really a bad game per se…..   It just seems like it could have used a bit (sometimes a lot) more dev time.
