I found it less enjoyable from the original PC game, not only because the cases seemed less good but also because the game is a complete waste of a disc and the whole High Definition gaming console. I have had an unusual week when it comes to gaming. I played and completed CSi: Hard Evidence that I won from EBay for £10. I found it less enjoyable from the original PC game, not only because the cases seemed less good but also because the game is a complete waste of a disc and the whole High Definition gaming console. For the love of God, the original game looked better than this and this was supposed to be on a High def machine. Complete disgrace. Not to mention the fact that half the cast don’t look anything like their TV counterparts. Nick, for one, looks like there is something wrong with his face, like he recently came out of an operation where skin was grafted from his bottom to his face. Catharine looks like herself with a tinge of Michael Jackson to it. Creepy.
And why is Sara Sidle only in it as a Cameo, when she is a major member in the actual series. I think it’s because they didn’t use her voice, she sounds nothing like herself, not natural. Almost like Chef from South Park, like they used previous clippings from the series. Gris looks like himself, complete and utterly devoid of personality. The game is basically the same from all other ones, except this one has a big shiny garage, for searching cars. Out of the five cases in the game, we only use it twice. And only for fleeting minutes. Well worth having a big section about it on the big of the game box.
The title is interesting: Hard evidence. This is interesting because some of the evidence is nothing short of gross. In the very first case, I had to swab the inside and outside of a condom. This piece of hard evidence helped my case hugely. The cases themselves can be a bit outlandish. I am not going to give it away, but this game is worth a rental at least.
