Discuss: 5 Reasons GTA IV Is The Worst Great Game Ever Made

Too far to say THE WORST GAME EVER MADE, it can be bad as some point, yes, the controls are clunky, but the cover system is new and I kinda like it! Oh God YES, the missions are so repetitive AND a lot of them are now heavily scripted, not something I would connect this series to, for example, I was doing the mission where you help the guy take the coke from the house on the hill to somewhere else and the police are following you and the other guy. I NOTICED AT LEAST TWO SCRIPTED events in this one mission ( i know it doesnt sound like much, but as I said, it is, to me, unheard of in a GTA game):

1) police car gets hit by a bus, at the same point and it is always the same police car and bus,

2) police car flips of a ditch type thing, again always the same car and always the same place, way etc.

Also, there is nothing I hate more then getting nicked by the edge of a car and this cause Niko to stunble like a drunken whore after spending the night on her knees to get up too quickly and realize her legs went numb.

I could go on like this but I feel I will leave this for my blog.

Overall though, good game......

all games have flaws, but GTA4 is an incredible game. Who cares about scripted events?

I dont care about scripted events, its just, i wouldnt connect the gta series with scripted events and i always loved that you never know whats going to happen in a mission and the events kinda ruin it for me. Still love the game though and something of this size will have flaws, it just loses the unpredictability, is all.

wait there is no way in any shape or form it comes close to worse game ever made. bad spots, all games have em but no this engineering masterpiece.

agreed. GTA 4 is wonderful. the multiplayer can get a little boring, for sure. but the single player is pretty damn fun. the missions have started to get repetitive, i am on the mission three leaf clover now, not sure how far in that is.
