You sure it's WW2? It looks more like Vietnam though the name does tend to lean more toward WW2.

I am not sold on another rendered advert just yet, a beta or demo will give us a fair idea of what this is like.

I was much preferring the look of Brothers in Arms to be honest, I just feel deep down that Treyarch will screw this up just as they always do.

Surprising that they did not show any vehicles in the trailer.  This was touted highly in COD3 and was one of the few things that COD3 had going for it.

 I'm not going to hate on the WWII aspect. A good shooter is a good shooter and I refuse to believe that Treyarch hasn't absorbed the features that made COD4 so great. Seriously... playing that game was like being hit over the head with a rainbow.

I'll say something positive before the hate: They had two years for development time, whereas on CoD3, they only had eight months.

So, they'll have one less excuse when it SUCKS.



Of course I don't want it to suck. But after getting burned by CoD3, I'm not buying this thing unless the GameRankings score is in the 90s.

I was gonna second Bling COD3, plus most of the other shit games they make were movie tie- ins, Spider Man wasnt that bad.
I don't think Tryarech as a developers are bad, they just make some decisions, and sometimes are forced into situation that are well less than desiriable.

Spot on LB, I just feel this will be a major let down.

CoD4 looked good in the trailer vids and it delivered in the full game, Treyarch are great at rendering movies though, I would give the vid 9/10 for looks. I can't help thinking the guys at Treyarch are saying "doh!" after CoD4 stormed the 360 charts.

I guess if this game does not deliver it could be like having a Ferrari and selling it and then buying a Ford Focus, you just feel....
