There would be a huge revolt against Harmonix if they did not allow this content to be used.

The question is how many people will upgrade to get the new guitar and drums.

I am surprised that there is no word in the press release about the new version being wireless or not. If they can free up all the wires I am sure many users will upgrade.

Is Rockband a fad that people will tire of before this new version comes out?

I can't believe that it is a 360 timed exclusive. Did they not move that many PS3 units? If I had to guess it was the amount of DLC that had something to do with it.

 I was a skeptic about Guitar Hero World Tour -- mostly because Guitar Hero III was lame -- but that music creation tool looks pretty damn sweet. However, I already own Rock Band and I live in a condo that will not house two sets of Fisher-Price instruments, so I'm with Rock Band for better or worse.
