I thought it look to be a pretty cool mock up. For thise who don't know the whole idea of the marketplace & dash layout was more driven by the users who where modding there orginal xbox's not just for games but more of the option for them to change the look of the consle's dash.

At the end of the day MS needs to do something quick about how content is shown on live my opion is that it is not very sales effective to those who barley play hard to find content some time.

Without a spring update this year, I wouldn't be surprised if something is announced at E3.It would be cool if they rolled out some total surprise during the show and it was available as soon as they announced it. I'm sure we'll have to wait until fall though.

There's definitely something coming. There's seems to be an uprising in the 360 community that's spurred by the sense that Microsoft is resting on its laurels -- which they kind of are. As the PS3 gets up to speed and the 360s flaws continue to tarnish the customer experience, Microsoft needs to buff up their image a little. With Live as their signiature product, it's the most sensible place to start. I've had plenty of dismal experiences with the console in the past year and I'm getting fed up myself.

I have a new strategy: The average lifespan of my consoles has been about five months, so as soon as I get my new one sent to me I'm going to begin a four month countdown. On the first day of that fourth month, I'm going to phone in a red-ringed console so that way when it does choke and die, I'll have the coffin already and I can cut down on the lenght of this arduous process.

I think that there is no way that microsoft is just going to throw out their blade system for the dashboard, but I could see the addition of a search box to the dashboard, and the user rating system is also a nice addition.

I like the layout although I will admit there is a little too squeezed in there. They can keep the blades but just leave search feature on every blade. The idea of hot keying certain areas of the dashboard has been on my mind for ages now. I will give a strong endorsement to not having to dig into the individual XBL Arcade title just to see the price. I think people would purchase more impulsively if the price were front and center. This isn't originally my idea but PUT MORE GAMES OUT AT 400 MS Points. Let's be honest, they are not all gems so put a price that reflects that and I may buy it out of boredom. Hey when I saw a store liquidating it's games because it was going out of business I bought a game that normally I wouldn't have given a second glance on the shelf. DEAD OR ALIVE EXTREME BEACH VOLLEYBALL 2 for $4. Purchase just for Achievement points, honestly just for the Achievement points not what you're thinking I bought it for. It's still in the wrapper AND I'm okay with that. See MS set the prices on some XBL Arcade games to 400pts or less and I may just repeat that mistake!
