this game looks like its gonna be great. i LOVED the single player on the original, but i coulndt get into the multi. i HATE no respawns. i really hope the new one has respawning. just like Shadowrun, that was a fun as hell multiplayer, but no respawns,

I liked both SP and MP on it. The MP took some getting used to, but it was a lot of fun if you get in a good room (although the same could be said about lesser games). The Host Shotty and Roadie Run Frag Tags got old though .... glad they're fixing both for the sequel (and adding more 'respawn' game modes for those of you who want it).

yea this game is gonna be sick... i stayed away from mp for the first one becuase of all the problems i herd from other people ... but i think this time around ill probably be playing it

Seriously cant wait for this game. I'm still playing the 1st online to this day.

The Party system in this game could make or break this game.

What makes me all the more amped for GoW2 is the fact that Epic really put some effort into pleasing the fans and fixing all the original problems that made Gears 1 annoying to play. Specifically the fact that everyone would whip out their shotgun right from the start and ditch the Lancer. Oh yeah and now more than one person, that's right you and a team mate, can cut an enemy in half at the same time.
