Well,it is a slippery slope here on out for the 360 unless they can secure MGS4 for it.
But come round the time, Fable 2, GoW2 and all those games come out, that will be the make or break time for the Xbox 360 to see if it can pull in new consumers, but I don't see it. I mean, anyone who is interested in these most likely already has a 360 and so I predict we will not see a big advance on sales.
I think it was different for the PS3 because people who may have had one of the other two consoles may have seen the release of MGS4 as a really valid reason to invest in a PS3. Hell, it made me consider buying one and the temptation is huge. All that's stopping me is the possible announcment of MGS4 for the Xbox 360, because the all I would have is a big door stop/ paper weight in my room....... an pretty large and expensive one at that.

Is anyone really waiting to buy a 360 for Gears 2? Microsoft already has nearly every hardcore gamer outside of Japan. Fable 2 wil be very popular, but I do not see it driving console sales either.

The PS3 has Blu-ray and that will continue to drive sales.

It is amazing after neary 9 years the PS2 is still selling so well.

Slow and steady wins....

Oh for sure Major Chavez. And also what else is driving the PS2 is that new games are still coming out for it, like Rockband, Alone In The Dark and Guitar Hero.
