What are plexers best ways to play a maximium amount of xbox without pissing off partners? I usually have to wait for my fiancee to fall alseep or when she is watching her stupid soap operas.

its a toughy ill give you that lol being at uni and having my gf with me at the same uni is hard cos she is like a minute away from me so basically whenever i do get free time it goes on 360 and plus i have lots of work to do naturally being at uni and all but i usually finish all the work in a week or close to that then i have as long as i want til the next assignment, so you probably have it easier than me i hardly get to play it, what you should try and do is get a job that has different hours to your wife or gf cos then you can work when shes at home and play when shes not lol

I play Rock Band with my wife and this allows me my own time on line. Then its good, 1 hour with her on Rock Band and I can play until I am tired.

You know you could just give her some sleeping pills lol your sitting there watching whatever she likes then you say do you want a drink she'll say yes then as you make whatever drink it is you slip some sleeping tablets in the drink lol give her the drink she drinks it then wait for her to start closing her eyes then cuddle her to make it easier to fall asleep then get up and dance around the room lol run to the 360 and get some quality time with the one thing you love lol word of caution for those that do try this make sure the glasses are different because you might forget which one is hers then she might take advantage of you asleep and play some 360 who knows lol

I usually just try to make my wife feel guilty. When she talks about how much time I spend playing games, and we could be spending that time together. I offer to buy her a gold subscription so we can spend more time together. That usually shuts here up!

In all seriousness though, my wife has come to accept my gaming habits for the most part. We have been together about half of our lives. So she knows how much I enjoy gaming. Not to say that she doesn't dispute it sometimes.

But nah gunnz sounds like hes got the right girl, if you like gaming that much you have to let her know i guess, i think she will understand but obviously dont play it all day while shes with you cos not really fair on her but yeh i still think the sleeping pills are a safe bet lol

mine doesnt mind, but it always has to be AFTER we "spend time together, and the kids are in berd" i usually get an hour a day thru the week, and 2 hours a day oin FRI and Saturday,

I bought my wife a gold subscription to POGO. (Best 25 bucks I have ever spent)

She sits on her laptop playing POGO, (flash based games do not use much bandwidth) and I am free to use the TV.

Lol, is it really that hard for you guys? My husband and I have seperate 360's and pc's so we can play whenever we like, usually it's him telling me to come to bed though. He has a combination of like, ADD and a bad addictive personality, like now we're playing WoW and he can come home from work at 6, play til 10 for months straight then wake up one morning and be like 'eh, I don't feel like it anymore' and never touch it again. He's crazy, but I try to have him watch a movie with me(when I'm not playing) so he won't burn out on things, kinda gets mad and says I don't want him playing and I'm like wtf?! so I guess I'm like all the other female counterparts, go figure.

Sounds like most of you are lucky.

I do not have a sweetheart so I am able to do pretty much what I want, but after hours staring at the screen for hours making $$$, dealing with household chores of cooking and cleaning, and being a dad there is not all that much time for gaming.

luckily for me my girlfriend likes to play games, so im either forced to play party animals or we rock on guitar hero.

So my advice is just play the games with her

and to get her to stop watching soaps "there rubbish"

indeed, there is almost not enough time in the day. I remember being a bachelor and having HOURS a day to devote to gaming (this was even before XBL) now im lucky to get an hour a day.

My wife is cool with me playing in evenings, my console is not tied to main TV so does not cut off her viewing. She understands that gaming and running site is my hobby so does not dictate to me what I can or cannot do. She tells me it's better than going down the pub for hours on end wasting cash etc.
