 If i remember correctly, i think Gordan Freeman was a scientist for the Black Mesa project that was working on teleport technology. The project accidently opens up a portal to an alien world and the aliens start pouring through the portal.
So to answer your question, GF is a nerdy scientist who is encumbered with the task of saving the world.

If like me, you never played any of the half life games, then this is a game every one should have, even for just Portal. It nearly got away from me too.

indeed, Im kinda saving portal for a rainy day.......i need to read up on the fundamental idea of it, i am a lil confused as to exactly what my portal gun actually does

yea, Portal was a game i would only play in bite size chunks, then one day erased my file, and blew thru the game again out of anger.

TF2 is great fun, it found more lag free matches during the school year, maybe all the rich kids with super fast connects were playing then,

i have had some decent matches lately, but there only seems to be 2 0r 3 maps.....its hard to get two teams that uses tactics...
