Alan Wake to show up at Tokyo Game Show  
(via QJ) - It's been more than three months since the Alan Wake (Xbox 360, PC) media blackout was rumored to be ending soon, and it looks like Microsoft and Remedy are finally getting ready to talk about the game. When, you ask? During this year's Tokyo Game Show, that's when.A new Windows Vista contest where the winner gets their digitized likeness added to Alan Wake seems as good a confirmation as any that the game will indeed be showing up at TGS.

Japan's hardware and software charts for July 7-13  
(via QJ) - Japan's Media Create has released the latest weekly sales figures for gaming software and hardware in the country. Handhelds are still dominating the platform scene, but as far as software goes, the PlayStation 2 showed that it still had plenty of selling power.Persona 4 by Atlus made quite a splash with almost 200,000 units sold.

New 360 To Upscale DVD's  
(via N4G.com) - This past week Microsoft announced that they would be lowering the price of the 20GB Xbox and introducing a new model for $349.99 with a 60GB hard drive. This larger amount of storage will come in handy when the new system update hits so that you can store your games. Circuit city is now listing this new model with a release on August 8th, but they also gave some more information about the system.
