Lets hope the kid doesn't respond negatively by smoking more weed since he didn't get his game. seriously!On another note, do you think he should have to shipped the alleged joint as part of the package since it's so integral to his story?  | Posted: 13 months ago I think this is great, best punishment EVER! I think he should wait til he sells it before he tells him though so he can't try to beg and get it back. Damn unappreciative hoodlums, and look, his father is still willing to get him Barbie princess, this kid doesn't deserve this man! This is a lesson to all those teenagers: never smoke at your parents house, EVER! this is what bars and friends were made for, we should all know this by now! --------------------------------- My husband is an Italian Hero... the person not the sandwich. |
 | Posted: 13 months ago I am all for this.....for someone who has never experimented with any type of illegal narcotic...I believe the father did the best thing.Miss Fortune...I believe you were kidding when you were telling teens a "safe" place to go and sneak behind there parents back. We should all hope that are children can trust us to ask if they would like to try something; whether it be drinking for the first time, smoking a cigarette or even getting into smokeless tobacco. I know when my kids come and ask, I will make sure it will be something that they will not want to try again. | Posted: 13 months ago Oh Odiemoster, this is not how things work out in real life, yeah I was joking but regardless of anything else, kids will not ask their parents if they can do something illegal, ever. My mom is forthcoming with how she was as a teen but did I tell her when I did stuff? no, just not something you say 'hey mom, I'ma smoke some pot, k?' Doesn't make you a bad parent or them a bad kid, it's just how it is. And if they're old enough to try drinking or smoking then they don't need to ask permission and if they aren't old enough then if you allow them to then you are contributing to the delinquence of a minor, which is illegal so that doesn't really work out well. I've never been in any trouble, drank a total of about 2 or 3 times before 21, and have never been in any bad situation because of something I did relating to any of that and yes I use to smoke, pot, never cigarettes or any other drugs and I have more then been in the situation where I could get what I want. As with everything else, it depends on the person, I know better.
