Posted: 8 months ago I actually liked the Resident evil monvies, they just needed a better budget, but OMFG Alone in the Dark??? that5 was HORRIBLE!!!!

Atleast there is someone that takes an interest in making video game movies... regardless of how bad they are... instead of writing it off as nothing. What, he makes the video game community look like a joke? please, I think most of the players can do that all on their own. Uwe is making the movie Far Cry now, you never know.....it could turn out ok.....Postal may actually be good. | Posted: 8 months ago I just wished that the RE movies focused on one of the actual game characters. I know they wanted to go with something different so that people wouldn't know what to expect(instead of copying a game) but they don't realize that sometimes, that is EXACTLY what we want. Yeah those that love the games will know what's going to happen, does it matter? Most people would love to see a live version of a beloved game on the big screen, and hey, if you do it right and make millions what the hell is the problem!?
Just bought Extinction and watched it for the first time, enjoyed it but it has strayed from the series a bit with the whole "superhuman powers" thing and that kinda saddens me. They did something a bit different with the Silent Hill movie too, but it was absolutely enjoyable and didn't make me think "wow, I'd rather them not make a movie at all".
