once i saw that Treyarch and Infinity Ward are working together on COD World at War, I got very excited. I will say it now. World at War is going to be great.

I think they're trying to make people forget that there's a disconnect between CoD4 and CoD World at War. I'm not buying this smoke and mirrors bullsh*t one bit.

well,

I know that they are using the same game engine, The disconnect may be good. COD3 was actually a very fun game. the vehicles were great. the class system was very close to IW's. Plus, the pressure is on. I believe Treyarch will deliver.

COD3 had a motorcycle with a sidecar, if you had a machine gun, and hopped in, iy would mount to the side car. cool tanks and jeeps, and actually some VERY good map design. Now the single player.....it was GODAWFUL boring, textbook, and TOTAL crap.

 I'm sorry to see CharlieOscarDelta.com die. I won't visit the COD site 'cuz like Bling said I'm not fooled by this BS.

They shouldn't call a game that is developed by anybody but Infinity Ward "Call of Duty." They should call the game Treyarch is making Spider-duty-of Honor-man, no offense Treyarch. This is the franchise that Infinity Ward built! If I recall correctly all the guys left Dreamworks Games when Medal of Honor became more about the Annual Cash in than about the game itself. I don't want to see Activision make the same mistake to COD.

Like Bling said... Smoke and Mirrors... I am sure that if IW had their way they would have never combined sites. I am sure that Activision ordered it, to get the COD4 IW fans to get more exposure to CODWW.

The majority of the community doesn't want to revisit WW2 since Modern Warefare set a bar so high that only IW would be able to touch it again. WW2 just wont cut it. No silencers, no red dot or acog scopes, no foregrips, back to the old guns, no thank you.
I might rent it and try it out, but if IW keeps pumpen out maps until COD 6, I wont be joining the fight in the Pacific.
