DIY FPS controller for Xbox 360

Some crazy gamer has went and totally changed the layout of his XBox 360 controller. While cool looking, I don't know if this would work for me. I'm always gripping the controller way too tight during those heated gaming sessions, and would probably be pressing all kinds of buttons. What do you all think?
