I know some people who work at Netflix's biggest competitor, and I don't think this announcement will be good for morale over there....

But Sony has their own interest in the movie game (since they also have their own movie studio), so they're having trouble deciding what they want to do. AND, they don't have the service even available yet (where Microsoft has already proven they can deliver the goods). And how much Sony hard drive space is already taken up for most people by 'installs' of games like MGS4, Hot Shots Golf, etc.?

this is actually going to be quite revolutionary. its a step towards the XB ultra goal, one box, that can handle ALL multimedia need, not there yet, but this will stab Sony in the gut with a rusty piece of rebar.
