You guys had a valid point on COD4 and new people joining mulitplay later on. I know when I got the beta I only had the odd chance to play and and I was a level 1 whilst everyone else was running round with superior fire power and abilities. Puts me off trying multiplay when I get the game in a couple weeks.

I just uploaded an updated version of the podcast. After I listened to the show again there were a couple of places that we probably went too far.

I am going to save the "un-rated" version maybe for a private area. If you did not download it in time to grab the early version then you need to subscribe in iTunes or your favorite podcatching program.

Next show will be live so we will be on our best behavior...

I think i got the uncut version (directors edition). It was very good.

Quick question. How come 1up yours can get away with lots of swearing but you cannot? Is it your choice to keep it clean for the kids or is it forced upon you?

We are not forced to do anything yet, but once we cross the line and too far the podcast will get an explicit rating or adults only rating.

This may actually help the show, but up to this point we have gone close to the line without crossing it. We are looking to make a few changes to the show and this may one of the decision we make.

Hope the other members of the team chime in here.

The 1up show is very popular and they do swear a little much in my book. I still listen to every episode.

I think you could go further. Most of the people who post are (or seem to be) adults and enjoy adult banter but I understand there has to be a limit to what you can say or do.

1up Yours can be a little too much, but it's the only show of it's kind that goes the full 'adult' route. Watching what we say keeps us on topic a little more, but if you all liked this podcast more than usual, then maybe we should make both of them available somehow?

COD4 will probably never be in my library for the specific reason already mentioned. If you get into the game too late, you will not have any fun playing multiplayer where you are getting killed before getting a shot off. Bring on the Matchmaking system of Halo 3.

I will have to say this is what makes Halo 3 better, even though I have yet to play COD4.

Don't worry, Odie.

You can level up fast in CoD4. There skill gap isn't as bad as it is in Halo. Getting pwned in CoD 4 is a game where you go 6 kills and 15 deaths. A bad game in H3 is going 1:18. You'll be able to hang with the big boys and be in the teens level wise in no time.

Yeah Odiemonster, don't let the ranking throw you off, and deter you from making a purchase. This is the best multi player shooter on Live at the moment!
While people who have been playing a while will have certain weapon and perk advantages, you can level fast as well. Besides that, I've owned some people with pretty high ranks. It just means that they have put in more time on the game so far. It's not an actual representation of skill like the number you get in Halo 3. So if you like military shooters, you better enlist now soldier, and start getting that rank up!

FirenFlames, my apologies. I was being a smartass more than anything else. When I went back and listened to the show, I thought, 'There isn't anything there that would bother my girlfriend,' but admittedly, she has a warped sense of humor too. But I can see where others may not agree, and I understand.

Also, a piece of advice for all of the guys out there. Don't take a piece of cardboard with swear words on it to the bar. It won't get you anywhere with the ladies. Just be yourself. It'll be worth it when it works.

Damn it! Now I NEED the podcast, I know somebody can help me out with that! Though I don't see how offensive you guys could possibly get, maybe it's a fact of knowing you guys aren't mean type people and probably didn't mean it how it sounded, then again men are idiots sometimes.
