San Andreas + Some Neat Features + Online = Great
When I first heard of Saints Row... I thought, "Wow, another 50 Cent Bulletproof." Well, I was wrong. This game isn't part of the GTA franchise but once you start playing you'll think it is. It takes it to the next level.

The graphics are something to marvel at. The explosions of the cars and how parts actually go flying and you can be hurt by debris is amazing. The cities looks so amazing. Driving across a bridge and seeing the skyscrapers truly makes you feel like your in Stilwater.

The gameplay is 100% identical to San Andreas. There are a lot... a LOT of mini games that are creative, original, and fun. The ragdoll physics really shine in this game as well.

The controls are pretty easy. They aren't like GTA but they are very easy to learn and in my opinion, much better to the GTA franchise.

Multiplayer... wow. You can play in standard Gangsta Brawls (deathmatch), or Protect the Pimp (escort), Big Ass Chains, and something about customizing a car... I forgot the title of the gametype. All of these are VERY addictive, especially Pimp. At the end of ranked games you earn cash to go towards your wardrobe for the online component. The wardrobe consists of a LOT of neat and stylish clothing that will keep you playing for hours to achieve. Yes, you do get cash for losing.

The difficulty is very... odd... I often find somethings too easy and others way too hard. I rated it at 7/10 because sometimes it's spot on and sometimes it's very awkward.

The sound is... also odd. Mostly because I'm not a big rap guy but once your immerged into the game, you can't help but move your head to the beat of the song. It features GTA-like radio stations with commercials, talk shows, and plenty of music. The sound of the game itself is remarkable... except for the constant use of the F-word. People use it for absolutely no reason... it seems very out of place.

I can't think of a better way to end this review than to tell you to just go out and buy it... it's very fun and addictive and Rockstar has some competition.
